Why?

It is said that people are generally less trusting of an individual if their eyes are hidden. Coupled with the dark, wearing sunglasses at night will make you appear sketchy and have people get out of your way, and not because you're rocking the look.

Today's sunglasses are more about fashion statements than protecting the eyes against the sun's glare.

To make the best statement with your sunglasses, we shall walk you through a few steps on how to look "cool" ever so effortlessly.

You don't have to wear them the conventional way, play around with how they look as a shirt accessory (hanging from the neckline or from a pocket). They don't always have to be worn on the face, more so for the fact that you don't need to protect your eyes at night.

Whatever your colour of choice, pick lenses that have light or medium transparency so that other people can still see your eyes. Stay away from reflective lenses by all means, they distract others.

A sense of occasion is key. Pick the occasion to avoid feeling over-dressed or oddly dressed (there's no under-dressing with a cool pair of sunglasses). If you are not sure about the event, leave them at home. Otherwise, you might come off as disrespectful. To be on the safe side, stick to wearing them at nightlife, at outdoor events and festivals.
