Fiery political and social commentator, Frank Gashumba has claimed that Barbie Kyagulanyi, the wife of Robert Kyagulanyi is always clandestinely visiting Statehouse for personal aggrandizement, adding that the top leadership of the National Unity Platform (NUP) is eating big from Statehouse.

Gashumba made the comments while appearing on a Podcast over the weekend where he slammed the NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi and the top leadership of his young party for betraying their followers, many of whom are currently in prison, by getting in bed with 'the dictator' they purport to fight.

"Why is Barbie Kyagulanyi always in Statehouse, for instance? I have been to statehouse several times, and I have seen Kyagulanyi's wife there several times," Gashumba said.

In the now-viral podcast interview, Gashumba claimed that NUP is fully funded and operated by the ruling party, the National Resistance Movement and that it is an appendage of the Museveni government. Gashumba added that there is no opposition party in the country right now because NUP and NRM are one.

Gashumba says, "Top leadership at NUP is fully funded by president Museveni. This project started in 2019 to crush the credible opposition of Dr Kizza Besigye and the Forum for Democratic change. And they have achieved it through NUP. That is why all the top leadership of NUP are building abnormally expensive buildings in Kampala. Where is the money coming from?"

He added that if the top leadership of NUP didn't work for Museveni, then Barbie Kyagulanyi wouldnt always be visiting Statehouse.

"I visit Statehouse a lot. I know what I am talking about," he emphasized.

Gashumba has been attacked on social media for these statements, so much so that he has been trending for about five days now.
