An angry Minaj, 39, went on Instagram Live and Twitter to complain about how unfair this was and she also issued an ultimatum.
Rapper Nicki Minaj, real name Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, quarrelled bitterly with rapper Latto, real name Alyssa Michelle Stephens, after Latto’s song “Big Energy” was nominated for a rap category at The Grammys yet Minaj’s song “Super Freaky Girl” was not even considered for any rap categories.

“If SFG [Super Freaky Girl] has 2B moved out RAP then so does Big Energy!” she wrote. “ANY1 who says diff is simply a Nicki hater or a troll.”
Minaj did not stop there as she re-quoted a tweet supporting her thinking.
A fan posted a screenshot of rapper Latto tweeting that “Big Energy”, her nominated song, is a pop song.
The fan accompanied this screenshot with a video clip of the Atlanta rapper (Latto) saying she’s in her “pop bag.”
To this, Minaj simply commented, “Yikes.”
Following up with another tweet, Minaj said: “Could you imagine someone telling you not to “complain” about being treated unfairly at your workplace? This is my job. I work very hard. No diff from a 9-5 where you should speak up for yourself if you know you’re a great employee & continue to be purposely sabotaged.”
The Twitter streets, so often paved by negative intentions, connected both rappers’ posts to each other once Latto seemingly responded to Minaj’s tweet 17-minutes later with, “Damn I can’t win for losing… all these awards/noms I can’t even celebrate.”
Earlier, Latto shared the good news that her song “Big Energy” received an American Music Award nomination for the Favourite Hip-Hop Song category.
