Ugandan celebrities looked smart as they dressed for Eid al-Fitr prayers and celebrations on Wednesday, April 10.

"This is to request you to relay the following announcement on Uganda Broadcasting Corporation Network and all media houses in the country: "The Honorable Minister of Public Service informs the general public that tomorrow 10th April 2024 is Eid el Fitr and will be observed as a Public Holiday throughout Uganda pursuant to the Public Holidays Act, 1965," she wrote in an April 9 letter to the permanent secretary of the ministry of information, communication, technology and national guidance.

Ramadan began on Sunday, Mar 10, and ended on Tuesday, April 9.
