Barbie posted an appreciation message about her marriage and husband in which she revealed candid moments on the day Bobi Wine proposed. According to her, the wedding exceeded her dreams leaving an impression that time will not erase.

"Today on our 12th wedding anniversary, I want to specifically thank you for the wedding I never at any one point dreamt of. Thank you for choosing to present our Union before God, for committing to go grey and decrepit with me. As part of the celebrations, the couple marked the special spot where they got engaged for other couples to celebrate various relationship and marriage milestones.

"Dear lovers. We have chosen to mark the spot where we sat when @bobiwine proposed to me ❤️🫶🏽! This spot/ Photo Booth is open for you to reserve for your wedding vows, wedding anniversaries, bridal showers and Engagement dinners. We have officially launched it," she added.
Barbie describes the night as magical, the start of their life forever reflected in the moonlit waters of the beach. Interestingly, however, Bobi Wine got the engagement ring from a random pawn shop in South Africa. The unplanned stop however became background noise when they started to outline their intentions for the future.

Ring on my finger, we sat at this spot at @onelovebeach watching the water waves on the lake and looking at the rays of the moonlight reflect on them. We started planning for our wedding."
The engagement ring purchase, according to Barbie, was one of Bobi Wine's quirky and funny moments in their love story, unconventional and surprising.
