John Blaq's rare jacket find is an interesting fashion piece

The singer was celebrating his birthday recently when he posted pictures of himself where fans and fellow artists flocked to wish him a good one. In the pictures which appear to have been taken on set, Blaq is wearing a black shirt, black leather pants, a silver chain and off-white/black VAMSKO Betta boots. But it is the coffee bean brown jacket that catches the eye.

A quick search of this fashion gem takes us down the vintage lane and many jackets in its look. However, the jacket appears to be custom-made, a cross between Corduroy and faux leather.

Corduroy makes up most of its body while faux leather is embedded in the details giving it a smooth finish on the edges.

This mix-match has a wonderful practical side that both the jacket and the wearer can appreciate.

The collar, the placket (button stand), and the wrist are made up of faux leather details.

This placement is good for cleaning these areas because they are the most active parts. Corduroy is a delicate material when it comes to washing and since the collar, placket, and wrists are more likely to get dirty, it would wear out pretty quickly with constant washing.

The Corduroy then makes up most of the jacket giving it that soft and warm feel that we love about jackets.
