Wagubi is a Rotarian and chief executive officer of WR Group which majors in giving African students opportunities to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate education in universities overseas.
In 2015, Wagubi was part of a workshop in Kampala with the Academy of Radio and Television Broadcasting, among other similar projects.

He was a director of business development at the Worldwide Training College between 2005 and 2008. Wagubi pursued a Bachelor in Commerce (B.Com,), Marketing at Delhi University between 1996 and 1999, and attended the National Institute of Sales around the same time.
He has been CEO of WR Group for 14 years.
Luzinda did not reveal how long she has been besties with Wagubi.
