Prossy Mayanja speaks out on Chameleone, Humphrey beef

Prossy said on Wednesday that Humphrey, her eldest son was constantly involved in fights with Chameloene and his other siblings, right from their childhood.

“I won’t say that the two had a good relationship,” she said.

“They had times when they were mad at each other and fought viscously but in the end, they would always get back together. Most times when they were fighting, we didn't even try to intervene because we knew that it was always temporary.”

Prossy’s comments come after an audio recording surfaced days ago wherein Chameleone could be heard denigrating Humphrey.

In the audio which seems recent, Chamelone says he doesn't consider Humphrey among his friends.

He accuses his elder brother of spreading false rumours about his personal life and income among his friends in the US.

Mrs Prossy Mayanja in an interview with Bukedde TV said such fights were common amongst his children but always got resolved.

Overall, he said, Humphrey remained a respected big brother in the family and was also available to help his siblings wherever they encountered challenges.

“I remember at the time that Chameleon was fighting with Bobi Wine, Humphrey was heavily involved and he tried his best to end that fight. That is why he was regarded as a big brother across the music industry,” she said.

Humphrey succumbed to stomach cancer last Saturday, and his body was laid to rest this Wednesday afternoon at their ancestral home in Mityana.
