As Kenzo performed his hit Nsimbudde, she joined other revelers to sing along and dance to the bouncy jam.
When she has crowned Miss Uganda, rumours swirled that Hannah Karema is romantically involved with Eddy Kenzo.
Some even claimed that Kenzo had played a backdoor role in the process that saw her win the beauty contest. Some observers have said she didn’t deserve the title.
Tumukunde would later acknowledge that she is friends with Eddy Kenzo and that he is also close to her family.
"He is my friend and a family friend, a friend to my sisters and to me,” Tumukunde said, adding that they are not dating.
She also noted that she is currently “single.”
She also noted that support from Kenzo, Spice Diana and Fik Fameica could have helped her in the process.
"I believe [their support helped] at some point... and I appreciate the fact that they supported me from the beginning up to the end and I'm super grateful," Tumukunde said.
