In an old video shared on TikTok, Nakazibwe, who had hosted Namakula for an interview, takes time to dance with her to her song Yo Sweet.

The song whose video was directed by renowned music video director Sasha Vybz, was arguably Namakula's best song in 2017.

This is not the first time Nakazibwe and Namakula are seen dancing on the internet.

Namakula danced with Kampala Boys to her new song Ngonze. Ngonze was written by Owenam, produced by Nessim, and its video was directed by Edrine Paul.

Faridah Nakazibwe has been in the media industry for close to two decades years, having started with WBS TV.

She had been at WBS for a year and a half when she landed a job at NTV in September 2006. A graduate of Mass Communication, Nakazibwe started as a reporter at WBS TV.

While she had applied to join NTV as an editor and reporter, the interview panel noticed she could make a good anchor.

Apart from reading news in Luganda, she also hosts a morning show called Mwasuze Mutya where she interviews personalities in different sectors.

Publicly available information shows that Rema Namakula went to Kitante Primary School before joining St Balikudembe, which she left to join Kyambogo University, but she didn't complete.

Born in 1991, the diva launched her music career as a backup singer, and she was lucky to work with some established acts like Halima Namakula and Bebe Cool.

In 2013, the Sili Muyembe singer unceremoniously left Gagamel Crew, which is owned by Cool, for a solo career.

In 2019, Cool said his issues with Rema started when she got a manager from Gagamel and he (Cool) rejected their idea of holding a concert. They didn't like it.

The year she split from Cool's band she dropped her first hit single Oli Wange, and three years later she was nominated as Uganda’s representative in Coke Studio Africa, a prestigious African musical event. While there, she shared the stage with globally recognised musicians like Trey Songz and 2Face Idibia.

Before leaving Gagamel, Rema had become an item with fellow singer Eddy Kenzo and in 2014 she gave birth to their daughter Aamal Musuuza.

Kenzo, who owns Big Talent Entertainment, has said he played a role in Rema's success.
