The songstress of the ‘Oliwa’ fame says she was once a target of the mystic assault that left her bedridden for months.
In an interview with Galaxy Tv, Nantongo spoke for the first time about the incident, which she says happened at the very beginning of her music career.
At the time, she had just joined Golden Band and was an instant sensation.
Her song, “Kamese Tambula” was blowing up and some band members were starting to question her success at such a young age.

“This business of getting on stage and fans are screaming in excitement; some people don't like that,” she said.
“You might be working with people but they are not happy with you and what you have become in such a short time. I was so young, but the energy I had was explosive."

Then one night, she says, it all went south.
Suddenly, she felt dizzy and thought it was a slight migraine. She went on stage and performed but up to now she doesn't remember how she got off stage.
“All I remember is that I was brought back to Kampala by Hilderman."
Nantongo says she decided to stay with her friend while the headache got worse. About a week in, she says, she completely lost her ability to speak. She was only stammering. She couldn't sing or even stand up straight.
All checks from hospitals showed she was not sick.
Nantongo says she was indisposed for several months and that the attack went away only when she resorted to prayers.
