Zari, Shakib share loved-up video as they visit Dubai

The development comes amidst rumours that the couple that got married in 2023 had broken up. This was after a video showing Zari and her baby daddy Diamond Platnumz holding hands made rounds on social media.

However, in a media interview, Shakib refused to discuss his relationship with Platnumz.

In that interview, Lutaaya, was asked by a reporter: "We saw you with Diamond sometime back, what's your relationship?"

He responded: "I think that's a topic for another day; are we done for today?"

Reporter pressed further: "But is there a relationship?"

Shakib insisted: "Topic for another day."

In October of 2023, Shakib Lutaaya was filmed hugging and having some moments with Diamond Platnumz. Zari later revealed that it was the Tanzanian crooner who suggested the meeting.

According to Zari, Platnumz wanted to know the kind of person that his children are spending time with.

The meeting happened at an airport in South Africa as Diamond traveled back to Tanzania together with his two children, Princess Tiffah and Prince Nillan.

As they bid farewell to one another, Shakib was seen hugging the two kids before going for a warm embrace with Diamond.

She says that both men turned out to be mature about it and that she had no trouble arranging the meet-up.

“I think, it is us the women who like rope-pulling, but for the two men, they were very cool about it,” she said.

“Some time back, I remember I sat down with Diamond and when I told him I was married he said he wanted to meet my man.”

Zari says Diamond wanted to “know the kind of person that was spending more time with his children than him.”

During that meeting at the airport, Zari said Diamond Platnumz officially handed over the responsibility of his children to Shakib.

Meanwhile, the relationship between Zari Hassan and Shakib Lutaaya seems to have grown distant after she shared a video holding hands with Diamond Platnumz.
