Zari Hassan’s baby sister welcomes firstborn (Photo)

Zuleha Hassan is officially a mum. Zari’s baby sister unveiled her newborn Zayed on Thursday night in a precious photo of her husband cradling their one-day-old son.

“#myloves Daddy Zayed with our adorable precious. At only 1 day old,” wrote Zuleha.

News of Zayed’s arrival has been met with excitement by celebrities and fans alike who streamed to her comment section to send out their congratulatory messages and well wishes.

“Hanshaaaam,” wrote Zari.

“So handsome, congratulations again baby sis and hubby,” read a comment from blogger Bongo Pilau.

“Nice name Zayed. ...congratulations,” wrote a follower.

“Awwwwww congrats boo... Sooooo cute,” a fan commented with another one adding “Congratulations mashallah cute baby.”

2018 Wedding

This huge milestone comes about a year after she tied the knot in 2 separate ceremonies, a religious Islamic wedding and a traditional ceremony called the Kukyala as per Baganda traditions.

Though she was happy to finally tie the knot with the love of her life, Zuleha revealed that she wished her mother was there to witness it.

Her mum Halima Hassan succumbed to a heart condition at Nakasero Hospital in Uganda in 2017 and they were super-close.

“Every day I spend with you is a blessing in disguise, you fill my heart with joy and happiness and I'm glad it's you I'm starting this journey with. My only sadness is that my mom ain't here to rejoice with me. #Guns and bullets. Love you,” she captioned a photo of her ceremony.
