A Ugandan legislator who was allegedly tortured by Ugandans soldiers has revealed that his condition has deteriorated again, hours after returning from India for treatment.

The Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zaake claims that police officers manhandled him on Thursday at the airport as he returned from India.

He told reporters at his home in Mityana that his healthy -- which was somehow better -- has since deteriorated.

The 27-year-old said: "Police's so-called medical workers treated me so inhuman".

The lawmaker added that he feels pain all over his body -- mostly the back, legs, head and neck.

His family has condemned the manner in which security operatives "ambushed" the lawmaker from Entebbe International Airport before escorting him straight to him home.

Zaake faces treason charge for allegedly pelting stones to President Museveni's motorcade in August.
