Vipers beef attack with Martin Kizza signing

Vipers Sports Club have unveiled winger Martin Kizza as their first January window transfer window signing.

Kizza plies his trade as an attacking left winger. The Uganda Premier League title holders offered him a two-year-contract till 2025.

His acquisition boosts the club’s offensive ahead of the much anticipated CAF Champions league group stage action that gets underway next month.

Speaking to Vipers Media, Kizza noted that he is highly motivated to join the Venoms.

 “I’m really, really happy to be here and going to wear this great shirt with this famous badge, it’s a dream,” said Kizza.

“I’m really happy and highly motivated to continue living my dream on the pitch and giving my all in a Vipers shirt,” he added.

“Vipers SC have a wonderful history in football now. I’ve played against the Venoms, I know what it feels like to be in the stadium with the fans behind them.”

“I was with the opposition and now I’m on the right side so I’m really excited. It’s a massive club with great players. As I said before, it’s a dream to be here finally.”

Kizza has recently featured for Express FC and was part of the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League championship and the 2021 Cecafa Kagame Cup winning squads.

He also featured for South African sides Free State Stars in 2019 and Royal Eagles in 2020 having started out as a KCCA FC player where he played from 2014-2019.
