According to him, candidates will begin with geography on October 16, 2023, and the tests will last until November 17, 2023. He also stated that the PLE, the second set of exams, will be held from November 7 to 9, 2023, commencing with a candidate briefing.

Meanwhile, the final set of exams, UACE, will begin on November 10th and run through December 1st, 2023. A total of 1.2 million learners are set to sit for the three sets of exams.

Odongo has advised heads of centres to ensure that every candidate receives a copy of the timetable and that the same is also prominently displayed on school noticeboards.

Odongo stated that braille copies of timetables had been issued to cater for learners with visual impairments, in accordance with the body's inclusivity policy.

He further stated that soft copies are being posted to school portals, while printed copies are being packed with other school supplies.

As a result, timetables incorporate examination requirements and a warning to students about misconduct.

"Failure to comply with the regulations and caution indicated in the timetable will result in the cancellation of a candidate's or all candidates at the centre's results or disqualification from the examination," Odongo cautioned.

He also urged parents and instructors to guarantee that the candidates receive the required teaching, learning, and psycho-social support in the remaining period.
