Ugandan Tiktoker Rose Adikin welcomes baby

She and her Chinese husband Wu Jianyun yesterday welcomed a healthy baby, much to the relief of her fans around the world.

Rose had endured a complicated pregnancy that sparked concerns among her followers.

Taking to social media on Saturday, she confirmed having a safe delivery and that she and the baby were alright.

“Thanks everyone for your concern. After over 9 months of waiting, we have finally welcomed a precious addition to the family,” she posted.

“From here on out, it’s not just the three of us any more – we are now a family of four!”

Rose, who hails from Tororo district is a famous vlogger in with millions of followers on Chinese and other social media platforms.

The 30-year-old speaks perfect Mandarin and cooks authentic Chinese dishes in her videos.

Adikin quickly found fame when she started vlogging on Chinese social media platforms Douyin (Chinese TikTok) and XiaoHongShu (Chinese Instagram).

Last year, she travelled with her husband and son to Uganda for a month-long holiday. The trip was extensively documented by Chinese media.

The good news of the new addition comes just after the couple have been putting final touches on their brand new house.
