Ugandan musician Gravity Omutujju shot by a security guard

Musician Gravity Omutujju was shot by a security guard on Wednesday evening at LK Petrol Station in Bukuya Sub County, Kassanda District.

The musician is currently admitted at Rubaga Hospital in Kampala where he is nursing injuries.

A police statement says the musician was reportedly heading to Lwebitute trading centre for a show before making a stopover at the fuel station where a security guard fired at his crew.

Authorities have arrested three people, including a security guard, to help with the investigations.

The suspects are being held at Kasanda Central Police Station on charges of attempted murder.
