The 25-year-old won 'Best Male Artiste of The Year East Africa 2018' award after beating Pompi, Goodluck Gozbert, Paul Clement, Guardian Angle and Moji ShortBabaa to it.

Levixone, in his first message after scooping the award, said "Sometimes God puts you in a position that undoubtedly tastes your FAITH, when I got nominated for the @sautiawards in the USA. It was first of all great achievement for me and my country Uganda that came with lots of questions of whether I will win this award".

He added that "God said I will, even though it was hard to believe because the other nominees were also great and the fact they are coming from countries that don’t have OTT they were likely to be voted more than me!".
