Thieves break into church, replace altar wine with urine

Thieves in eastern Uganda replaced altar wine with Urine in Bukedi Diocese.

Local authorities told local media that thieves broke into the church, sipped all the wine -- replacing it with urine.

The thugs also emptied the church coffers of petty cash, according to New Vision.

"To add insult to injury, the sinners proceeded to fill up the bottle with urine and placed it back on the holy table.

"This is an abomination of unimaginable proportions," one of the church leaders said.

Church leaders expressed dismay while describing the act as 'blasphemous'.
