Zari Hassan scoops awards in South Africa

The African Social Entertainment Awards (ASEA) were founded in 2018 with the goal to celebrate the lifestyle and social entertainment of Africans in the industry.

The awards also look at appreciating the fast-growing social media platforms and promoting to other continents the real picture of Africans lifestyles and ways of celebrating life.

The winners for this year’s edition of the African Social Entertainment Awards were announced on Wednesday 15th December 2021 through their respective social media platforms. South African based socialite and Ugandan Zari Hassan managed to win two awards on the night.

On the night, Zari was also crowned the Sophisticated Woman of the Year. This category had big brands from all over Africa like Hillary Makaya, Dilish Mathews and Thembi.

Entrepreneur of the Year, an award which looks and most entrepreneur personnel of the year went to Zari Hassan. The mother of five beat personalities like Tamara Otunba Doggy among others

Zari Hassan is the late Ivan Semwanga’s ex baby mama with whom they had three children before she left him for Tanzania’s bongo flava artist and CEO Wasafi Records Diamond Platnumz.
