Stop demanding new songs, I want to enjoy myself - Weasel

Weasel was responding to people who are worried about the direction of his music career, as he has taken long without dropping smash hits.

"Even if I'm not singing, I want someone to sue me and imprison me for 10 years, I want you to stop making bricks and see if I will sue you. Hahaha," Weasel said while speaking to reporters.

"I'm enjoying. Wait, when did you last listen to Celine Dion's song? Do you think she is suffering? Sue me for not singing... this time I want to enjoy myself, don't delay me... I wanna live, we are called the Mayanja family. You can't manage us," he added.

"How many songs does Madox [Ssemanda Sematimba] have? Does he have more songs than Radio and Weasel?... A person doesn't have to sing a lot. A person can become depressed... For us, we worked. There are songs whose lifespan is just two weeks."

Songstress Catherine Kusasira recently revealed that Weasel once told her that he regretted the trajectory his life had taken following the death of Moses Sekibugo, aka Mowzey Radio.

"Sometime back I was talking to Weasel, I think it's like a year ago, there is a word he said, we were conversing, and he told me, Cathy, I regret why I'm still living... why am I still alive? I wish I had died. Since Mowzey's death, my life turned upside down. I don't know why I'm still on this earth," Kusasira said recently.

"By the time someone says something like that, the kind of pain they have in their heart, I think it was too much. And I started counseling him that he shouldn't mind because in life everything is possible. Sometimes he does things he shouldn't have because he hates himself. He's not the Weasel we know. But he is a good child."

Radio, who died on February 1, 2018, sang with Weasel under GoodLyfe. They sang great songs together, but since his death, Weasel's music career went downhill.
