Sanlam is committed to empowering women, says CEO

Good morning, and welcome. I am pleased to address you on this special occasion of International Women's Day. As the CEO of Sanlam General insurance Uganda, I am proud to lead a company that is committed to promoting gender equality and empowering women in our community.

Women play a critical role in our society, and yet they continue to face significant barriers and discrimination. That's why at Sanlam Uganda, we have made it our mission to provide women with access to financial products and services that can help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Our Life and General Insurance products, as well as our investment solutions, are designed all-inclusive to meet the unique needs of women and provide them with the financial security they need to thrive. From protecting their families against unforeseen events to investing in their future, we are committed to helping women in Uganda build a better future for themselves and their loved ones.

But our commitment to gender equality goes beyond just providing financial products and services. We also invest in programs that empower women with financial literacy, education, and social development. Through which we equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to make informed financial decisions and impact their communities for a better future.

Today, on International Women's Day, we celebrate the resilience and strength of women everywhere. We also reaffirm our commitment to promoting gender equality and empowering women in Uganda through our products, services, and community engagement initiatives.
