Reckitt sweeps People's Choice Awards in Uganda with 4 top honors

Dettol antibacterial soap, a flagship product of Reckitt, scooped the award for the second consecutive year after being honoured as the best bathing soap in 2022.

Meanwhile, Harpic was lauded as the top solution for toilet and bathroom sanitation, while Mortein gained recognition as the most preferred pest control solution. 

Jik bleach was acknowledged for its outstanding stain removal and germ-killing ability on fabrics and surfaces in homes, making it a favourite among users.

Established in 2009, the annual People's Choice Awards aim to honour outstanding business entities in Uganda, promoting business excellence within the country.

Mohammad Ali Tariq, Reckitt's Country Manager, expressed gratitude to the organizers for providing a platform to celebrate brands that significantly impact the lives of Ugandan consumers.

The People's Choice Awards rely on annual statistical research among consumers, the business community, and national regulatory bodies. These awards are the result of extensive surveys, reports, and data-tracking methods conducted nationwide.

Following their recent success, both Jik and Harpic received further accolades at the East Africa Quality Brand Awards, winning the quality excellence award as the leading cleaning disinfectants and toilet cleaners in the region.
