Police arrest BBC journalists and wife of NBS TV's investigative journalist

Police authorities have reportedly arrested two BBC journalists in Uganda's capital, Kampala.

The journalists were arrested separately at different locations according to reports by local media.

The arrested include Kassim Mohammed, video journalist Bandebye Godrey and a driver identified as Shafiq.

Vivian Sserwanja, Ministry of Health spokesperson and also wife to investigative journalist Solomon Sserwanja, was arrested after security operatives raided their home on Wednesday night.

They are being detained at Central Police Station in Kampala and no charges have yet been preferred on them.
