Plane skids off runway at Entebbe Airport

Ethiopia Airlines flight ET 338 skidded off a runway while landing at Entebbe Airport on Thursday.

All the 139 passengers and crew members were disembarked from the plane safely, according to the Civil Aviation Authority.

The incident has affected inbound international flights as authorities try to tow the plane from the runway end.

Authorities have not given a specific time but said 'the public will be updated on developments in the course of the day'.
