Byanyima is among five residents living in Kololo -- a plush residential area in Kampala -- who dragged seven bars to court.

The group claims that these bars have huge screens with loud music videos -- also floodlights at these bars reflect a lot of light into their homes.

The suit filed before Kampala High Court reads: "The defendants have continuously allowed the use and consumption of tobacco and other narcotic substances which circulate in the air and interrupt the quiet enjoyment of the plaintiff's properties as well as affecting their health and that of their family members."

The complainants want the court to issue a permanent injunction restraining the bars from hosting music concerts and late-night parties.

The court is expected to rule on a preliminary obection against the case on February 26th.
