As per a response Thande gave to a tweep, it seems the lovebirds  will be headed to Maldives for their luxurious honeymoon.

A section of the public expressed outrage in the crowdfunding efforts noting that a honeymoon is an affair that ought not to involve the public.

BBC journalist Larry Madowo was also quick to comment on the now viral post noting: "Kenyan couple crowdfunding their honeymoon because 2018”.
