Minayo drops ‘Self Service’ video

Now signed to Fenda Republic, singer Minayo is steadily returning to the music charts following her long spell out of business.

She has in the last three months released three projects under name titled Bamusakata ,Rasta man and Self Service.

Last year when Uganda was hit by the pandemic, Minayo took the whole year without releasing any single song. But she came back bigger this year to deliver content to her fans and followers with music.

Listening to her new song “Self Service,” you notice a lot of versatility and the kind of genre changed to Bax Ragga from her usual dancehall style of music. Minayo fuses the soft lyrics with hard beats that sound catchy to ears.

Producer Blessing adds an Afro-beat feel blended with the traditional Kiganda drums and flow to the song. Minayo lyrically sings about love making the song a perfect dedication to your spouse.

The video directed by Allan Soja is a beautiful piece with amazing camera shots, camera angles and lighting and color that make it a beautiful piece of a video.

Minayo is a Uganda Reggae and Dancehall artist who is so passionate about melodies. She is also considered as one of Uganda’s most energetic performers amongst female Ugandan musicians.
