MP Odonga Otto survives a horrific car accident

Aruu County MP Odonga Otto has survived a horror car crash with minor injuries.

The legislator together with his driver were travelling in an SUV when the accident happened at Katugo, Luweero District, on Friday morning when the car rammed into a lorry.

Police authorities say the pair was briefly hospitalised at Lacor Hospital before being transferred to Kampala for further treatment.

Human error

Police Chief Political Commissar Asan Kasingye took to Twitter to reveal that the MP's driver had earlier been flagged down by police but continued to drive on.

A crane was dispatched a few hours ago to the scene to clear the trucks from the road.
