According to Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed who made the announcement on Sunday, the Nairobi based school will remain closed for one week.

The decision was arrived at after the CS held a second meeting with the school’s management.

She added that the government will have a security assessment done at the school as she promised to ensure all the suspects are brought to book, once investigations into the incident are done.
