The suspect from Kagumoini village is currently being held at Kabati Police Station.

It is reported that Mr. Muiruri slammed his son on the floor after an argument with his wife over food.

Muiruri is said to have come home and asked for food but after his wife failed to serve him, he attacked the toddler.
