Kisumu Girls High School has been closed indefinitely following a protest launched by the students on Sunday night.

Emerging reports indicate that the learners were demonstrating against  'stringent' rules set by the new principal.

The students also accuse the principal of mismanagement.

Property of unknown amount was destroyed during the student rampage at the institution.
