Kenya Navy grace Mashujaa day with spectacular display of marine maneuvers and vessels in a break from tradition [Video]

It was a rare sight to behold at the Mashujaa day celebrations as Kenya navy treated the public to a spectacular display of its might.

For the first time since independence, the event held at the Mama Ngina waterfront park saw a rare display of Kenya’s naval vessels and marine maneuvers through the Likoni Channel.

The 21 gun-salute was a break from tradition with the shots from the naval vessels blasting through the air in a ceremonial display of might.

The usual infantry and air force displays were also a highlight at the event.
