Karole Kasita, Anne Kansiime caught in the cross-fire of Sheebah-Cindy feud
Karole Kasita has been enjoying the success of her remix to "Chekecha" with singer Winnie Nwagi and Vinka. However, in light of the feud, Kasita seemingly chose to side with Sanyu highlighting her contribution to her career and nurturing her, something fans did not take kindly to.
"Mami @cindysanyu thank u,u natured n kid learnt. My song is now trending no.1🙏," she said in a caption on Instagram.
Fans and followers in the comments were torn between taking her caption seriously or as a sarcastic remark to Sanyu's claim of being a "mummy" to Sheebah.
Some fans called her out for crediting Sanyu for the "Chekecha remix" success instead of the two artists who featured on it.
Kasita and Sanyu have a music collaboration project titled "Mwoto".
Comedienne Anne Kansiime also featured in the comments seemingly trying to put out the fire Kasita's post had started. Kansiime is often seen in Karungi's company and the two seem friendly. She was also spotted in Karungi's new music video for the song "Only Girl".
"Wama @karolekasita bakuleke othankinge teacher wo. Atte obuzibu buliwa. Music doesn’t lie indeed," Kansiime replied in the comments.
Karungi recently responded to Sanyu booking her date and venue for her YOLO festival. She recorded a video of herself holding a shot's glass of liquor saying that she's the "real b*tch" and asking her "real b*tches" to get behind her. She was wearing a T-shirt promoting the festival.
