Kyamagero, who was speaking to YouTuber Kasuku, said that it should always be a collective effort among siblings to support each other and their parents.

He said being unable to contribute financially, doesn’t mean one can’t offer any other form of help.

"It's not a must to look after your parents and your siblings,” said Andrew Kyamagero.

“The key word is MUST... there is a window of should; when should you... take care of them?

"Why should it be me [not my brother or sister?]... We always look at money as the end goal. My sibling may not have money, but they may be well-connected or experts in something.

He noted that some people end up taking loans because they want to please their dysfunctional parents.
