The Ugandan-Indian community witnessed an enchanting evening of music and charity at the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) multipurpose hall, where the legendary Indian playback singer, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, delivered a mesmerizing performance.

Known professionally as Abhijeet, he is popular for his 1990s songs such as Biwi No. 1 which gained international fame.

Organized by the Bengali Association Uganda (BAUL) and supported by Plascon Uganda, the concert aimed to raise funds for constructing new classroom blocks at Kitante Primary School in Kampala.

The charity event, marked by the presence of hundreds from the Indian community and Ugandan nationals, turned into a cultural celebration under the stars.
