Inbound flights resume after a plane skidded off runway at Entebbe Airport

Entebbe International Airport was forced to briefly suspend inbound flights on Thursday after an Ethiopia Airlines flight skidded off the runway.

Civil Aviation Authority on Thursday morning said stakeholders were towing the plane to ensure the resumption of flights operation but had not given time duration.

Ethiopia Airlines flight ET338 had 139 passengers on-board when the incident happened.

All people on-board were deplaned safely without any injuries.
