'I don't have any female friends' - Carol Nantongo

"I was once with people and they did things I didn't understand. I distance myself from women as much as possible. I don't have any female friends," said Nantongo in a media interview. "I only have male friends. They understand better than men. You tell a woman your secrets and find them on Luwum Street. Women don't want you to progress. They want you failing."

Carol Nantongo most recent fallout with a female friend was with Lydia Jazmine. Rumours would later swirl that they were both sharing the same man.

Raised in Kyaliwajjala, Namugongo, the songstress started singing at church and school.

After S.4, due to financial challenges, her mother told her to study hairdressing.

While pursuing hairdressing, an associate encouraged her to register for Coca-Cola Related Next.

Though she didn't win, a lady identified her and connected her to Golden Band.

At Golden Band, she impressed Catherine Kusasira, then she was introduced to KT Events who introduced her to Judas.

The first song he wrote for her was Nsinka. KT bankrolled the production.
