The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji has ordered for the arrest of National Lands Commission (NLC) Chairman, Dr. Mohammed Swazuri.

In an announcement on Saturday, The DPP said that the NLC Chairman’s arrest was in relation to the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) land compensation.

Swazuri will be arrested alongside others who were not named.

“The DPP has consented to charges against National Land Commission (NLC) Chair Dr Swazuri and others in relation to compensation,” read a tweet from the DPP’s office.
