Diamond Platnumz’s big brother and official DJ Romy Jons has been nominated for a prestigious award.

RJ the DJ has been nominated for the 2018 African Pride Awards in the ‘Outstanding International Disk Jockey of the Year’

In the category, RJ the DJ will battle it out top African and world renowned DJs like DJ Cuppy from Nigeria, DJ Ike from Belgium, DJ Spinall from Nigeria, and DJ Black Coffee from South Africa among others.

The awards will go down on June 3, in London.

Other East African artistes nominated to take part in the 2018 African Pride Awards are his brother and music sensation Diamond Platnumz who will battle it out in the African Male Artist of the Year category and song bird Vanessa Mdee who has been nominated in the African Female Artiste of the Year category.
