Nigerian star Davido excited Ugandans as they celebrated the new year in Kampala.

The award-winning musician took time during his set to pay tribute to late Radio Mowzey of Goodlyfe music duo who died in February last year.
"Rest in Peace Radio. I met Radio 4 years ago when I last came to Kampala," the 26-year-old said.

He also paid homage to singer Jose Chameleone before performing a song he recorded with his brother, Pallaso, in 2014.
Radio died after sustaining severe injuries in the head following a bar brawl in Entebbe, about 49km from Kampala.
The main suspect in his murder case is still in detention facing murder charges.
