A small group of supporters has gathered outside his home singing songs that praise the legislator.

A few colourful balloons and leaves have been decorated on the small road that leads to his home. Some of his supporters have been sighted sweeping the dusty road.

Wine, who is being seen as the new face of Uganda's opposition, is expected to arrive in the country on Thursday after nearly three weeks in the US.
