CCBU rewards 54 top distributors with Tuk Tuks in peak performance challenge

Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) has rewarded 54 top-performing distributors with fully kitted Tuk Tuk delivery vehicles as part of its Tuk-Tuk Peak Challenge, an initiative designed to recognise distributors who achieved their peak sales targets.

The programme aims to strengthen last-mile delivery by providing distributors with a practical tool of trade, enabling them to reach customers more efficiently, cover more outlets, and improve service delivery. The initiative supports CCBU's objective of ensuring that a cold drink is always within reach for consumers across Uganda.

Ellis Muhimbise, the Sales Director at CCBU, officially handed over the Tuk Tuks to the winning distributors. CCBU is a company within the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa group.

Speaking on the initiative, Emmy Hashakimana, General Manager of CCBU, emphasised the company's commitment to partnering with customers for growth.

"For Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, partnering with customers for growth means creating shared value beyond the product," Hashakimana said. "By rewarding strong execution and investing in our distributors' capacity, we enable them to grow their businesses while improving availability for consumers."

The Tuk-Tuk Challenge forms part of CCBU's broader strategy focused on customer-centric execution, dependable service, and building strong, long-term distributor partnerships across Uganda.

Hashakimana further explained the company's approach to customer engagement.

"It is about customer-centric execution through understanding the unique needs of different market segments and ensuring product availability at the right time, place, and price, leveraging data and analytics to anticipate customer demand and preferences," he said.

He added that CCBU aims to provide best-in-class service to retail partners and help customers grow their businesses through insights, promotions, and tailored support.
