Capital FM celebrates late Alex Ndawula

Capital FM is this Friday evening paying tribute to its legendary DJ and presenter, Alex Ndawula who passed away two years ago.

The pioneer FM radio is throwing a memorial-themed party at Old Timerz Bar n’ Grill in Ntinda.

The tribute night will feature music from DJ Bonnie and Frankie Pro.

There will also be guest DJs including Cosby, Hunt, Mark R, Michos & Deno and KK & Dings.

The night will also celebrate other former Capital FM presenters who passed away.

These include among others, Allan Kantankerous who passed away in 2007, DJ Ronnie Sempangi who died in 2009, MC Afrik, Bashabe and others.

“Let us also remember the lives of our other fallen brothers, Dj Paul Massive, Cantankerous, Banji, Berry to name a few, and celebrate them for giving us some good times,” the station announced.

DJ Alex Ndawula Munyatos passed away in June 2022 at Nsambya Hospital where he had been briefly admitted.

He was aged 59.

Ndawula had worked at Capital since 1995 on different programs including the famous Dance Force on Saturday nights.
