Bobi Wine's Kyarenga concert in photos
It was an all red-love-affair on Saturday when a mammoth crowd of people attended musician-turned-politician Bobi Wines concert dubbed Kyarenga on Saturday at his beach in Busabala.
The concert which had been scheduled to happen in October in Namboole -- but blocked by authorities -- is now what most people are describing as the concert of the year.
Thousands of Ugandans turned up for the concert which started as early as 10 am at One Love Beach.
Several musicians including Eddy Kenzo, Spice Diana, Eddy Yawe and King Saha among others performed to an excited mammoth crowd.
Kyarenga Concert is Wine's first performance of the year in the East African country after his brutal arrest in mid-August.
He wrote:Â "I cannot thank you enough for the massive show of support and solidarity. What a night!!! Not only did you show up in record numbers, but the vibe was also so good. You lit the fire and kept it burning. Thank you for dancing to the songs of freedom. I enjoyed every bit of the night, and it was evident you guys had fun too.
"I was captivated by your sense of purpose, resilience and determination for a better Uganda. Your faces were all beaming with hope and aspiration even as we danced and sang."
