The 36-year-old will hold his concert dubbed "Kyarenga" at Mandela National Stadium - also known as Namboole.

The multi-purpose stadium which was inaugurated in 1997 has a sitting capacity of over 40,000 people.

It was named after the South African then-President and anti-apartheid icon Nelson Mandela.

Wine has been described as the new face of opposition by his supporters who have likened him to the late South African icon.

He caused an international outcry when he was brutally arrested and allegedly tortured by Ugandan soldiers in mid-August.

The Kyadondo East lawmaker was flown to the US late August to receive specialised treatment for the injuries he says he sustained during his detention at a military facility.
