Bobi Wine to address the nation on Saturday
Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) announces that he will address the nation on Saturday.
Bobi Wine briefly talked to reporters at his home in Magere, Wakiso District, on Thursday -- hours after arriving in the country.
Earlier today, he was arrested by security operatives at Entebbe Airport moments after his arrival from the US for medical treatment for injuries sustained during his brutal arrest mid-August.
Wine told reporters that he is happy to be home and he will give detailed explanations during his press briefing on Saturday. He said he will start from where he stopped from.
During his brief press briefing at his home, the Kyadondo East MP said: "the government is determined to keep us as slaves in our own country".
"I can't ask for asylum anywhere else; I can't be a refugee. I'm Ugandan and I will stay in Uganda. I will fight for my freedom and that of Ugandans," he said.
Kyagulanyi has since reunited with his family for the first time since his brutal arrest in the northern town of Arua in August for allegedly pelting stones to the presidential motorcade.
