Diana said her relationship with Barbie Kyaluganyi and her husband, Bobi Wine, is so strong and built on a mutual understanding of professional pursuits on all ends.
The songstress, who also goes by Hajara Namakwaya, was responding to continued criticism that she has sided with the government at times yet she is friends with the Kyagulanyis who are in the opposition. Bobi Wine is an opposition linchpin.
"Let's respect Bobi Wine," said Diana in an interview.
"Let's respect Barbie.
"Those are my friends. They treat me like family and I also do the same. Let's put them out of this..."
She said she doesn't want to be asked about them again and assured her true fans that the couple understands the business she is involved in.
"No matter where I perform or what I sing... they respect my job," she said.
"That's why they come to my events when I call them."
Diana recently performed at the Rukundo Egumeho concert, which was held on Wednesday, April 19, at Kigezi High School Playground in Kabale.
The event was organised to celebrate the reopening of the Uganda-Rwanda border.
The Chairman of the MK Movement, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba was the guest of honour.
Gen. Kainerugaba, who is also the senior presidential advisor on Special Operations, played a pivotal role in the re-opening of the border through a series of meetings with Rwandan President Paul Kagame.
Diana was booked by Gen. Kainerugaba's friend, Bebe Cool, to perform at the event. Cool is also friends with Diana.
