Barbie Itungo shares a tip from her envied marriage

Kalule on Saturday afternoon introduced the love of her life, Emmanuel Kasaija, to her parents, family and friends at a glamorous event held at their home in Kassanda.

Mrs. Itungo, who also delivered the official message of the NUP President to the guests, offered a tip to Mr. Kasaija for a successful marriage: “give the best care that you can to your woman.”

Tapping from her own marriage experience, Itungo said even her own dazzling looks and the near-perfect love image that she and her husband cast to the public, is just a tip of the iceberg of the care that she receives from him.

“I heard Mr (Patrick) Nsamba saying he used to see us from a distance and envied us and the way I am treated. He said he knew I looked amazing because I was being cared for. That is in fact correct,” she said.

“But what you see in the cameras is just a small fraction. I want to thank Mr Kyagulanyi for taking good care of me.”

At the introduction, the 38-year-old looked ravishing in a blue and cream Gomesi, marching that of the bride; a large green ruby necklace and a chunky wrist cuff bungle. 

To the people of Kassanda, Itungo praised them on behalf of her husband, for their decision to send to parliament a trustworthy representative, and one that’s true to her word.

“My husband also asks you to play each of your parts because this (taking power) mission is like a mat; if you take one piece off, everything else unravels. But if each part of the mat is in its place, that’s what will make it whole.”

The introduction event was graced by several NUP leaders, apart from the Principal, Bobi Wine who is still held up in party activities in the United States.
